All I Want is....

I cannot get anything done because all I am doing is obssessing about a banana split. I keep telling myself that I can make it through the day without having to sneak this little bad guy in, but there is a sneaky devil on my shoulder telling me I should just go for it. I will try to fight this as long as I can today....or until my next craving takes over. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

Overload

Seriously, I know I'm pregnant...but I cannot quit eating today. It's been constant all day. A Twizzler here, a hand full of Cheetos there. All I have been doing is eating JUNK all day long. I am ready for Blake to get back from his tournament tonight so I will know that someone is observing this behavior. I can't promise it will make me quit though. I am a MANIAC!!

Bad Blogger

Well, it's official. I am the WORST blogger in America. I promise it is not because I have been slacking though. We have had a very busy year, and I have included a few pictures to let you know what the Morrison's have been up to.

We found out that we are expecting baby BOY number 3! That's right, Gage Alan Morrison is scheduled to make his appearance in early June. Ty and Cole are super excited! I am left wondering what this mamma is gonna do with a house full of testosterone. My BFF Kate is expecting Lyla Brooks Richardson just five days after Gage. This will be an exciting summer.

Ty started Kindergarten this fall. I cannot believe that he is already old enough to be in school. It seems just like yesterday he was a teeny tiny baby.

What a BIG boy!

We had a busy fall following Rider Raider football! What an exciting season it was! There is nothing better than football in December.

I am now a nursing student at MSU. Am I crazy to start a nursing program in the midst of all our craziness?? Probably so, but I am enjoying every minute of it!

Also, during this time we had a huge scare with my mom. In September she went into cardiac arrest and was without a heartbeat for over 50 minutes. We were told that she was not expected to survive, and in the case that she did she would have serious brain damage due to lack of oxygen to her brain. After many sleepless nights beside her bed in ICU, many prayers from family and friends, and the Good Lords will, I am proud to say that she is well on her way to making a full recovery. I am so glad that God had plans for her to spend more time with us on this earth and have the chance to meet her new grand baby!

Can't find the time

Ok, so once again....I have been SUPER BUSY! I promise that soon I will be posting picture blogs on Ty's soccer games and what we have been up to in the Morrison house. Right now, though, its study, study, study for my test tomorrow.

Yay for the first day of FALL! My favorite time of year by far!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Wow, I am really slacking on blogging....but I think I do have a few pretty good excuses! I just recently started back to MSU in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education. I am now a full time student with a full time job. Let's not forget my mommy duties too. I will not work on my school work until they are in bed, so that makes for a long night! Also, this week I have been in Abilene from Tuesday-Friday for Prevention Training for my work. So today I will be playing CATCH UP!!! Good thing my buddy Labor Day is on Monday to give me an extra day to get everything finished! All in all, I have been a very busy bee. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get all the laundry done, housework and all that school work I missed while being gone at training. Sounds like I better get busy! I'll leave you with a sweet comment Ty, our four year old made last night.

When we were driving home from the football game, I had this 80's c.d. playing that was made for our 80's Halloween Party last year. It has every song you can think of plus all the sitcom songs from that decade. The M.A.S.H. theme came on and I told Ty that his PaPaw,who died this year, use to love that show and when we stayed there with him he would always watch it. Ty said "Why don't you turn this song up so PaPaw can hear it in the sky." My eyes filled with tears, but not out of sadness. Children are so sweet and so thoughtful. Always thinking about ways to please people and make them happy. I just looked and him and told him what a great idea that was and turned that radio full blast!
Have a good weekend!!

And the Award goes to.....ME!

Thank you Kate for passing on the Premium Meme award!! I have needed a reason to sit down and post something so why not seven traits of mine.....here it goes.
1) I am a HUGE worrier!!! I try to tell myself to relax, but rarely ever do I win that battle. I worry about everyone in my life and always hope that I can fix any problem that may arise in their lives.
2) I am undecided when it comes to simple decisions. For instance, where to eat, what to order....and the list goes on. I am not a very picky person at all!
3) I rarely ever sit through a whole t.v. show. I stay really busy....but feel I get nothing accomplished :0)
4) I am quick to forgive. I am a huge sucker for "I'm sorry".
5) Unlike Kate, I am a huge HUGGER! I am probably guilty of forcing a hug on her just to see her reaction ha ha.
6) I have a really good sense of smell. During both of my pregnancies it was so intense that I would get nauseous a lot just from everything being so STRONG!!!
7) I am very open minded! I like to look at situations many different ways and can usually understand where people are coming from, even if I disagree.
I pass this on to anyone who has never received this award!!!

My hard worker!

The other day Blake woke up extra early to get a start on our yard. Cole woke up extra early too and of course he was looking for his daddy. So I decided to walk outside and show Cole that his daddy was working so he wouldn't wander around the house looking for Blake forever. We sat there and watched Blake for awhile (only because every time I tried to come inside Cole got upset). I could tell he was really thinking hard about something. All of a sudden he wanted down and went on a mad dash into our house. Not a few seconds later he was racing back outside with his play push mower. He followed Blake around the yard the rest of the time. I got a few pictures of him helping his dad mow!
